Since being encouraged by my professors at Purdue University to do side projects, I have regularly been working on non-school and non-work projects. This has resulted in learning new technologies and finding out what I really want to do with my career.

Between 2008 and 2012, I dedicated a large amount of time to learning. Between 2012 and 2017, I took some time away from larger side projects to focus on software development with an emphasis in testing, hiking the west coast, and meeting as many people as I could. I am currently back to working on independent projects while taking time away from work.

My current projects have a focus on OpenCV and Machine Learning with Python. My hobbies include Mandarin, hiking, and racquetball.
